For this project, I got the chance to reimagine an already existing album in my style and create an album package out of it. Since I'm a massive fan of Elton John, I was really excited to do one of his! I chose one of his most iconic (and one of my favorite) albums; Madman Across the Water! With the constant use of blue and crashing waves, I wanted the main motif of the package's design to be water, as the title of the album would suggest. I also added bits and pieces of Elton John iconography such as a piano, pair of sunglasses, and numerous stars. This piece was made by creating graphite sketches and inked, colored, and completed almost entirely digitally.
